| On a remote moorland location in Ayrshire, Scottish Power required foundation piles for 3 new electricity pylons. |

| Piles required to be designed for tension and compression loads, drilled into rock. 108 piles in total. |

Pylon locations were not accessible by road or track and situated in a peat bog.
All materials and platform mats were flown in by helicopter. |
